Dr. Green’s first job after graduate school was as a therapist on the child and adolescent inpatient unit of Kedren Community Mental Health Center. After a year, he went on to work for seven years at the H.E.L.P. Group, working in their adolescent program.  He began as a staff psychotherapist, then was promoted to clinical supervisor, and in his last two years also added Dean of the Therapeutic High School to his duties.

He left his full time work at the H.E.L.P Group to start his private practice for Adolescents and Adults, Famiies and Couples.  While building his private practice he worked as a part time clinical supervisor at Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center.  He now has been in private practice for more than 20 years, and for the last 5 years has also been on staff at PCH Treatment Center, which is an intensive outpatient program for adults.
